The L.T.T. activities were relevant and engaged the participants in learning, improving Turkish.
The participants were taken to many different places where they used the daily Turkish expressions in real life situations.
The host participants interacted with the guest ones mostly in Turkish
The app helped the participants were in communicating with the native people in Turkish.
The members of the host school were fully involved in helping the participants to learn /improve Turkish language.

As for the accommodation, at the rental houses and families (teachers and students, respectively) the most of the participants agree (64,82%). The communication is a more complicated issue, although most participants have no trouble communicating with their families and mates from the other countries.

EMATE 2, Meeting Report in Antalya (TURKEY)

The first Emate 2 LTT meeting took place in Turkey [Antalya] from the 15nd the 28th of November 2018. All the LTT activities previously specified in the application form were carried out successfully.

•A PM meeting among the partners and the app developers was held and a contract was signed.
•A sound management plan clarifying all aspects of the project for a good management was created.
•The Emate website the Emate twinspace and the mobility tool+ were introduced via PPTs.
•The realistic and feasible methodology to be followed in ALL the LTT project mobilities, based mainly on Authentic Learning [language learning in real world to better interiorize the expressions] and ICT-based Learning [use of ICT through the App], was specified.
•Turkish Language tutorials were organised in which the participants (including the ones with fewer opportunities/migrants/refugees) worked on the useful daily Turkish expressions they got familiar previously from the E-Mate app.
•The guest participants were taken to places like restaurants/ hotels/ airports/ markets/ stores/ exchange offices/ local municipality/ institutions/ associations/ foundations in the aim of providing them authentic real life situations where they had the opportunity to apply what they learned from the E-Mate app Turkish language module (testing/implementing) and from language tutorials. They weren’t obliged to communicate with native people efficiently but to use the basic expressions in Turkish with the best of their ability in a realistic/entertaining way.
•The guest participants were exposed to basic Turkish expressions during the whole week through face to face interaction with the members of the community of our school and with the members of the families hosted them.
•The participants were taken to different classes, though the corridors decorated with the visuals of the target expressions, especially to the Turkish class where there was a friendly welcoming and social-cultural interaction.
•The project results were introduced to the school community, the parents, the local authorities, organisations, associations, foundations, enterprices, tourism facilities, Erasmus+ beneficiars, language courses, language learners, the press, tv channels. Thus, the Emate app was promoted in local and national levels.
•Teachers meetings and know-how sessions were organiized n which there was exchange of good practises about language teaching, inclusive education, open innovative ICT based teaching methods/tools
•3 Turkish language assessments were undertaken to evaluate the improvement of the participants after taking part in the tutorials and making use of the Emate app.
•A cultural-linguistic assesment was undertaken to evaluate the knowledge of the participants about Turkey, Turkish culture and daily Turkish expressions.
•Dissemination: We have presented the materials, results, outcomes about the meeting on the webpage, twinspace, school boards and in local press.
•Recognition: Europass Certificates and Certificates of Attendance were given to each participant.
